Description
It was a sunny day when we visited this beautiful lighthouse. It was so windy, that I thought that I was going to blow away. There were sea lions down below and waves crashing against the rocks. They warn you about sneaker waves here so I was glad that we were up high and away from that possibility.
This is Oregon's tallest lighthouse at 93 feet and it extends out into the ocean for 1 mile.
The lighthouse was lit in August 20, 1873.
There is a wonderful interpretive center inside and you can wonder watch a video about the lighthouse.
