When I visited Wildlife Safari in Winston Oregon, there was only one giraffe. The last time that I had visited there had been three, so I was feeling a little sorry for the one survivor of three. I created a wooded area with trees, grasses and birds and since he was already walking, I created a story for him that he was taking a walk to find some friends.
Original image taken at Wildlife Safari in Winston, Oregon. Texture was selectively added by using layers in Photoshop CS6.
Texture by Shadowhouse Creations. Trees and birds added with a photoshop brushes by Obsidian Dawn

I paint with acrylics and take on going classes in both painting, photography and photoshop I have been photographing images since I was 14 and my only camera was a brownie starmite. I love what the digital age has done for photography, no film and no developing except with my own software and that part of the process, I like immensely. I especially like to photograph all aspects of nature, landscapes and animals, macro to wide angle and my current cameras are a Sony a7ll and a7lll.
