Artist's Description
This is a digital composite of several photos. I like to combine images to create a story. In this story, the Winter Goddess is blowing a cold north wind across the mountains and into the valley below. Why? Because it's her job and because she can. It is in her nature to be cold and sometimes cruel as she buries everything in ice and snow. I guess it is in our nature to gripe and complain about this, especially if we are not winter people. Of course I am not a Winter person but I have realized that Mother Winter is certainly doing us a favor. All of this moisture is needed to survive the hot summer and to give all of us who are alive, including all creatures, the water that we need to live. So thanks to the Cold North Wind, I will not be complaining, bring it on. Now I need to make sure that we paid our electric bill so that we have heat. Did I say that I hate to be cold?
