Description

Pot Marigold or Calendula is a beautiful and self seeding plant with healing properties and is an eye catcher in the garden. The plant possibly has anti viral properties but I personally use it in soap making where the petals make a pleasing bar of soap that is kind to sensitive skin. You can also buy calendula products such as ointment and creams to heal rashes, bug bites and stings.
The original image was taken in my garden in Southern Oregon. One of my own textures was applied. This image was processed by using the oil painting filter in Photoshop and Camera Raw Filter.
