Artist's Description
This wonderful lighthouse is located in Port Orford on the Oregon Coast. The day that I was there, it was so windy that I thought that I would take off like Mary Poppins. No telling what the landing would be like because I was without an umbrella. Evidently this spot, which sits 200 feet up a chalky cliff receives a lot of wind, sometimes as much as 100 miles an hour. This image was taken at Cape Blanco Lighthouse on the Oregon coast. It was processed in Topaz Restyle and Impression.
I did remove some people that were milling around to make the image more pleasing. I also added a little light to the lens and added a flying bird to the image. I left the people that were at the top of the lighthouse since it is a tourist spot.
